Aim of the workshop:
Researchers in their first leadership positions face multiple challenges: besides excelling in research and teaching they are also expected to develop management skills and lead people in teams and/or projects to a successful outcome. The workshop starts with essential questions in regard to leadership in academia and furthermore discusses central issues of supervising PhD candidates as well master/bachelor students and lateral leadership contexts such as cooperation projects and committee work.
